  My wife and I just moved out of a house that Accent managed. What a joke. My wife is in the military as I am not. I am actually in the property management business myself so my standards were high. I got real disappointed. It takes FOREVER to get a maintenance request finished and the maintenance guys they do send their, are not that qualified. They left us to go without hot water for two days because it was leaking and they kept saying we have to get approval from the owner but my thought was that, something that a person has to have, is hot water. I finally ended up having to replace it myself, I actually got in touch with the owner and they approved because Accent was taking too long. We had our electricity and water shut off the day we moved and turned in keys, they told us that we need to keep it on so they can do work in there, and if we don't they will take more money out of our deposit to turn it back on in their name. Like I stated earlier I'm in this business and I have NEVER heard of that in my 17 years in the business. I refuse to let a company do work on a house that I know longer rent,on my dime, that's what they have my $400 non-refundable pet deposit and $899 deposit. They are also very rude and act fake on the phone when you call the office. I advise anyone looking for a house or apt in Jacksonville, NC, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go through Accent realty. there are plenty of other and good companies out there that would help.

  They manage a property at 307 Cornsilk Ct, Jacksonville, NC and allow 5-7 single young Marines to live there eventhough this is a single family property w/4 bedrooms. These Marines are slobs with trash in the front yard, an unauthorized dog, 5-7 vehicles and trailer. In spite of several phone calls to their property management folks-nothing has been done. Do not let them manage your property unless you want it tore up from the inside out!
